Writing love and healing.

I write contemporary romance and memoir about messy lives, hopeful endings, and the moments that change us. Whether through fiction or personal stories, my hope is that readers feel seen, understood, and a little less alone.

Beyond the Books

Life didn't lead me to writing in a straight line. It brought me here through years of caregiving, chronic illness, and more unexpected detours than I can count.

What began as a love of books eventually became a career built around telling stories with heart. Whether I'm writing contemporary romance or sharing pieces of my own life in memoir, I believe stories help us feel seen, understood, and a little less alone.

Every story I write is made with heart and written with hope.

I grew up in South Carolina and now call Georgia home. I earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina-Aiken. Becoming an author wasn't exactly part of the plan. In fact, I once laughed when a college professor predicted I would write books.

More than a decade later, I've published novels, designed fonts and graphics, and discovered that stories have a way of finding us when we need them most.

When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me hand lettering, designing something new, listening to Taylor Swift, or being supervised by several opinionated cats.

Behind the Words

"Broken chairs make you think you were too heavy when they collapse. Life has taught me it's not the chairs that break that matter most, but the ones that hold."

—J.B. McGee

Pull up a chair

Stories, sneak peeks, and a reminder that you're never alone. Pull up a chair and stay awhile.
